Hello friend...

Good Wednesday evening... just wanted to pop in and say hello, and to let you know I have not forgotten about you. This week is Bible School, I have been very busy helping with that and fitting everything else in... so, I am a little tired. I took a little time this evening to prepare this card for you!
It uses some of my favorite things... Cosmo Cricket paper, yet another digital image from Iralamijashop, a stained doily, a Prima flower and a sentiment from PTI stamps.
I hope you are enjoying your week thus far... I have some Banana Bread in the oven that is almost done and now I am off to make some brownies... all for Bible School tomorrow!

Good night...

Tammy

P.S.  I have not heard from either lady to claim their prize on the Crafty Secrets giveaways! You can scroll down to the previous posts to see if it is you! Ladies, you both have until Sunday, July 31st to claim your prize or I will choose two new winners!

This is the lovely inspiration photo for this week's challenge in The Shabby Tea Room. All you have to do is create a project using pink, yellow, brown and any neutrals. I adore the rose towels!!! Here is my card using these colors...

The sentiment is from PTI.

As promised, here are the cards that are included in the Crafty Secrets giveaway... if you need details on the giveaway, scroll down to the next post and you will find it there.

This is card number one... it features paper from the Creating With Vintage Patterns CD, My Mind's Eye and Melissa Frances, along with some images from the Mini Vintage Creative Scraps, some beautiful lace and sentiments from the Artsy Banner Stamp Set and Cupcake Party Stamp Set.

Card number two uses some more paper from the CD and The Girls' Paperie, along with another digital download from Iralamijashop on Etsy.

This one is probably my favorite... anything with roses! Although, I am a little mad at myself, I was playing around with my camera and forgot to put in back on Auto Focus... too lazy to retake the pictures.

Can you see the shiny on the little square images from the Mini Vintage Creative Scraps? I used some of the new 1" Clear Epoxy Stickers... man, I love those things!

and last, but not least... the little letter stickers are from My Mind's Eye. I hope you like these cards and if you would like to own them, just leave a comment in the post below... you have until Saturday Morning!

Crafty Secrets New Product Show Off...

Good morning everyone and a happy Monday to you! Today, the Crafty Secrets' Design Team are whipping up some projects using the new stamps and offering up a technique on how to use them. My first project is a little mini album using a journal image taken from the Creating With Vintage Patterns CD. I just love the shabby look of this tag!
SS25 keys to life-WEB
I used the "Keys Of Life" stamp set... releases the end of July and lots of images from the new Mini Vintage Creative Scraps. I will show you all the pages and then give the tutorial on how I did the keys at the end.
I will apologize in advance... I'm not very good at doing tutorials on the blog. So, here goes... this is my tutorial on how I did the keys on the front cover.
1.     Stamp the key image onto cardstock and using a craft knife, cut out the entire image.
2.     Stamp the keys image again onto a patterned piece of paper. Cut out just the pieces that look like  ribbons. Now, adhere these pieces on top of the key image you cut out the first time.
3.    Using Copic markers, color in the keys and key ring using a color blender to blend the browns an grey together until you achieve the look you are satisfied with.
4.    Pop dot the image onto your project.

I hope this tutorial helps... if not, please don't hesitate to ask me and I will help you as much as I can. The look is worth all the cutting... it just doesn't show up in the pictures.

Now, I feel like doing a little giveaway... leave a comment and I will select a winner on Wednesday to receive one of these awesome Creating With Vintage Patterns CD! (Thanks to Crafty Secrets)! I will have another giveaway in the middle of the week too!
I will leave you with a card using some papers from the CD and the new "Vintage Silhouettes" stamp set.
Be sure to visit the other ladies on the Design Team for more great inspiration....

Have a wonderful day...

so charming...

As I continue my Month-Long Guest Designing with girls in the Shabby Tea Room... this week's challenge is all about charms! "So Charming" is the theme and here is the inspiration photo...
and of course, using the photo and adding a charm... or how ever many you like, this is my take on it.

I used some paper from Sassafras, sentiment from PTI, die cut from Pink Paislee and some lace from Prima.
I hope you get to play along with challenge... see you in the Shabby Tea Room.

It is weeee hours in the morning... I'm off to catch a few hours of sleep!

a little birdie told me...

I wanted to pop in tonight and share a little card with you... over on the Heartwarming Vintage blog they are previewing the new stamp sets that are set to release in late July (also doing some giveaways) and let me tell you, they are all so wonderful. Yesterday this little set was revealed...
The sentiments and images are so sweet... I just had to play with this set today. So, I used some papers from the Creating With Vintage Patterns CD and the "Birds of Happiness" stamp set to create this card...
I stamped the little boy and then stamped the bird so he looks like he landed on the little boy's finger, then colored them just a little with some art pencils. I usually use Copics, but I have had these artist pencils lying around and after using them, I really like the softness of the colors.
I especially love the flower border at the bottom... oh what am I saying... I love all the sweet little things this stamp set has to offer!!! Be sure to stop by the Crafty Secrets blog the rest of the week to see all the previews and a chance to win them!

Thanks for stopping by tonight...

flower power...

Here I am, back from our little Anniversary get away. I must say, my husband was just full of surprises over the whole weekend. He really made our 25th Anniversary very special and one I will always remember.

Now, it is time to get back into the groove of things. I am continuing my Month-Long Guest Designing with the shabby girls... I am a day late with my Shabby Tea Room post, but I took no computers (other than my cell phone) with me over the weekend so I could enjoy the quality time with my family... so I do apologize for being late. Here is the beautiful inspiration photo...
It has all of my favorite colors all nested together... so lovely! I did two cards for this one because I love the colors so much! All you have to do is use the gorgeous colors of pinks and reds, any neutrals and flowers.

This card uses some Webster's Pages and My Mind's Eye papers along with a rolled felt flower, a Webster's Pages Bloomer (flower), some lace from Prima, a die cut from October Afternoon and Pink Paislee, a sentiment from PTI stamps and some vintage seam binding and fabric strip.
The next card uses some Prima paper and a digital image from MadebyJanet... my favorite shop! The sentiment is another from PTI stamps.
I think the sentiment goes perfectly with the sweet little image... the lace tidbits are from Prima and the rose oval in the center of the bow is from The Girls' Paperie. So, head on over to The Shabby Tea Room and see all the wonderful inspiration and creativity.

Good night....

ticket to happiness....

This weekend, my husband and I are celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Just seeing those numbers make me feel really old... he is the love of my life, the one that completes me and makes me happy. We have  a lot planned for this weekend so, I thought I would share a couple of things with you because I will not be blogging for a few days.

The first one is a little card using a digital download from MadebyJanet and a few items from Crafty Secrets.
The papers are from the Creating With Vintage Patterns CD and the sentiment at the top is from the French Mail Stamp Set and I also used a small snippet from the Mini Vintage Creative Scraps. The heart is from Melissa Frances.
The second card uses... of course, some more Crafty Secrets paper from the CD and a few other goodies.
The image is taken from the Girlfriends Booklet, lace from Prima and some old buttons and rhinestones.
Thank you for stopping by tonight... have a safe and fun filled weekend! I am off to get some more things done for this weekend!
