Cut a piece of fabric and batting the size of your frame plus an extra three inches around each side (my frame was ten inches so, I cut my fabric 13 X13). Layer the fabric on top of the batting and pin. I then did a cross hatch design for the quilting. Using a piece of heavy cardboard, adhere your fabric piece and place into the frame.
Using the Flowers 3 -D, #2 Die, die cut one large flower from wool felt. Now, I must take a little break from the tutorial to tell you... I assembled everything together, stood back and loved it but, all the sudden something hit me!!!! I should have stitched along the edge of the flower!!!!! Yep, I removed the flower, disassembled it and did just that and OH MY GOSH... what a difference it made!!! It does not really show up in the photo but, trust me, it is well worth the time it took to stitch along the edge of the whole flower.
Okay, back to the tutorial. Stitch along the edge of the flower and assemble. Adhere a piece of lace in the middle of the flower, then a rhinestone button. Adhere two leaves behind the flower on the left side. Adhere a crocheted doily into the center of the fabric, adhere flower in the center of the doily. Adhere a heart resin embellishment above the flower and add "everyday" word sticker.
Using the Tiny Tabs & Labels Die, die cut one large tag and one round tab from patterned paper. Adhere the rounded tab to the right side of tag then, adhere a "life" word sticker in the center of tab. Using the Flowers 3 -D Die, die cut one small flower from felt and assemble. Adhere a small button in the center of the flower. Adhere two small leaves behind the flower and adhere the flower in the center of the tag. Stick a heart pin thru the flower. Using a piece of jute string, thread thru tag and wrap the tag around the big flower in the center and tie into a bow (bow is tied at the top left of flower). Adhere the tag down just a bit so it stays in place. Adhere the "Cherish" wooden tiles along the bottom as shown in above photo, placing a piece of lace behind the first "H".
The wooden tiles and heart resin embellishment are from Prima and the word stickers are Chit Chat Stickers from Tim Holtz.
You are all done... ENJOY! I know I am mine!!!!!
