Hello everyone! Today, I have a card to share with you using a new die from
Sizzix. It is from their new Christmas line... the
Dove & Holly Die. The dove is gorgeous and it comes with a bonus
Holly Embosslits Die that is adorable.
I simply die cut the dove from some patterned paper and of course, added some machine stitching around it.
I added some lace, vintage button and an old rusty bell to the bow.
On the vines, I sprinkled them with some Diamond Dust and I just LOVE the way they look! The little heart and berries are cut from wool felt. I then finished it off with a sweet little sentiment.
I did not fit the
Holly Embosslits Die onto this card so, check back tomorrow for that little guy! Until then....

ReplyDeleteHi, Tammy. Such a pretty card. I'm not sure I "love" the dove...very modern shape, but your vintage touches more than compensated for that. I love the little red heart button and that gorgeous bow treatment. The vine is placed so nicely. You do such wonderful work!
