sparkling in the shabby tea room...

This is such an inspiring photo... I just had to play along in The Shabby Tea Room this week! Only rules were to use white/cream, sliver and a splash of pink. Sounded like fun to me, and this is my card based on the photo above...
I used some pink as my background ~ the base of the card, and then added the pink bloomers from Webster's Pages threaded thru the sparkly silver pendant.
The sentiments are all from Papertrey Ink... I stitched around the Mr. & Mrs. Papers are from Basic Grey and My Mind's Eye.
The white oval resin frame is from Melissa Frances. Notice the Love script above the hearts... I could use this little stamp over and over.... sigh.
I hope you got to join in and made something from the beautiful photo... it certainly was inspiring for me. If you didn't, you can go check out all the great submissions here.

Have a wonderful evening!

Tammy

P.S.  Yes, I have decided to stick with my little blog.... just for times like these when I just feel like creating a little something. Thank you to those that emailed me and left encouraging comments here. I will post as often as I can.

pocket full of love...

I hope your Saturday is bringing you much joy and happiness. I have spent mine in my craft room, taking a nap, playing Uno with my youngest... in other words being just plain LAZY today! I have a project to share with you that has been laying on my desk unfinished awaiting a few more special touches... it is finally done.
This is a large Envelope Pocket from Melissa Frances all dolled up for Valentine's Day. I have to say, I think this is my favorite Valentine's project thus far... I love the color combo.
The see - thru die cut is from Glitz Designs ~ LOVE and the cute little vintage image is from K &CO.
The ticket and metal heart is also from K &CO...
added a little vintage book print at the top of the flap along with some lace from Prima.
I took the little circles apart so I could stamp on them... uuummmm so much better! The sentiments stamped are from Papertrey Ink (the script and xoxo).
Last but not least... the cute little felt hearts in the sweet aqua blue. The die and felt is also from Papertrey Ink.

That is my project for you today. Now on to some news that might be a little disappointing to some of you. I am thinking of shutting my little blog down. I am not sure that I am inspiring that many people and as you all know posting and keeping up is very time consuming. That being said, I have really been running it over and over in my mind and I am still not 100% positive yet. I know I will miss it and probably regret it but, right now it feels right to me. I have so appreciated everyone's kind comments on my work and hopefully inspired some of you... just wanted you to know that : )

I am going to give it a couple more days before I make my final decision and will let you know then. Until then, enjoy the rest of your weekend and thank you so much for your visit here.

xoxo...

Happy Friday everyone! I am back with another Valentine's Day card... just can't get enough of sweet roses, hearts, pinks, greens, reds... sigh! This one uses some more paper by Prima.
When I was sorting thru all my stuff, I came across three packages of these adorable die cuts from K&Co! I LOVE all the images and you will probably be seeing a lot of them as I have so many.
I put a little paint on a chipboard heart along with another heart doily, heart button and some vintage seam binding. The XOXO sentiment is another from Papertrey Ink.
And there you have it... your card for today.  I am still working on the kit : )  Thanks for stopping by today.

Enjoy your day!

love is in the air...

Hello friends, today I am anxiously awaiting for this holiday...
Valentine's Day just makes me happy... and these colors are no exception. The digital download can be found here, Janet is soooo talented!
I used a scalloped heart border punch (Martha Stewart) at the top of the beautiful paper from Prima (loooove those sweet roses!), then added a heart doily.
The sentiment... I adore and will be using a lot, is by Papertrey Ink. There is so many pretty things to make for this holiday! I am putting together a little Valentine's Day card kit and I think I will use this card as one of them so, check back in a day or two and I will have them listed in my Etsy shop.
I speckled some mint green paint along the bottom and top of card in case you are wondering. It is really pretty in person... hard to pick up the detail in the pictures!

Have a great evening!

happy day...

Well, Thursday came and went... sorry I didn't get my projects up! I have been super busy getting ready for my sweet girl's 14th birthday party... and of course squeezing in a couple of basketball games in between! The party was yesterday and they all had a great time... it finally got silent at 4 a.m. this morning! No sleep today, lots more to do, this is a card I made for the birthday girl...
The pretty little image is found here in Beatriz Jennings' Etsy shop. Other items used include paper from Prima, a crocheted butterfly, vintage dictionary paper and some scrunched seam binding.
The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink...
so, I hope you have a beautiful day! Gotta run... everyone is waiting to head out for lunch! Thanks for stopping by today :)

I'm still here...

Hello friends... yes, it has been awhile since my last post. Mostly because I needed some time away from crafting and spending more time with my family during the holdiays... I have enjoyed every minute of it too! Another reason was because my craft room got a big makeover! My sweet husband got me some beautiful vintage furniture and I had to clean my room from head to toe! I have to say I absolutely LOVE my new room!!! I took a few pictures to share with you but, they are not the best in the world. I have no natural light in this room.
This piece has to be my favorite....
Looooveee the angels...
The dresser...
This piece is a long cabinet... too much glare off the wall so I just got a snippet of it.

So, after much cleaning and sorting through things, the room is almost complete and organized. I hope to share some projects on Thursday. I just wanted to give you an update as to why I have not been here lately. Thank you for your patience.
