I cut the heart and leaves from fabric, adhered them to some felt and then cut around the fabric shapes. I used scalloped scissors to cut the felt around the heart. No project for me would be complete without machine stitching around them : )
I adhered a lace tidbit to the heart, assemble the flower, added a small pearl in the center of the flower and adhered the flower in the center of lace.
I stamped my sentiment using one of my new favorite stamp collections, Ali Edwards Be Mine Clear Stamp Set and then adhered the stem, leaves and heart to the card. Added some washi tape and a little more stitching and viola.... a simple Valentine's Day card!
Thanks for your visit!
Tammy
