True love...

is in the air today, Happy Valentine's Day! Speaking of true love, I LOVE this Sizzix Heart Box Die designed by Eileen Hull! She has a new "From the Heart" collection (available now) of dies and each one of them are just gorgeous. 

The box is so easy to put together, I cut mine from white Mat Board, assembled the box. I then die cut one more time using patterned paper and adhered to the top and sides. When you cut the side pieces, I then trimmed the notched side off to where it was just a rectangle piece before adhering to the sides.

Adhere some mini pom pom lace around the entire box... see the very bottom photo. For the top of the box, adhere a piece of gold mesh in the center of the heart, added my "true love" metal piece.

 

The pretty little flower is another die from this collection... The Heart Petal Flower, it is cut from felt. I then adhered some felt leaves under the flower and adhered the flower towards the bottom of the box.

Add a piece of lace under the flower and adhere the cherub image to the side of flower. Adhere the resin heart embellishment in the center of the flower and tuck a tag with sentiment (American Crafts roller stamp) just to the side of the heart. Stick a heart pin (Maya Road) as shown in photo. You are now ready to fill and give away... if you can part from it.
